ForeMedia Community Media Project (CMP) is an initiative to empower the next generation of young people and millennials to have access to media skills, creativity and entrepreneurship through hands-on training and internship program. The initiative is directed at creating the next generation of leaders.
Young people and millennials who have a strong desire to create social value and proffer solutions to world leading problems and also have a niche for business.
Applicants are to go to https://foremediagroup.com/cmp-application-form/ and complete the online assessment form. Candidates would be invited for an interview either via Skype or in person. Successful applicants would be communicated to on the commencement of the programme.
The project is only open to applicants within the age of 16-25 years.
The application portal for 2019 is already open and it would close on the 28th of November, 2019. The date of the commencement of the project would be communicated to successful applicants.
A maximum of 50 applicants per batch.
Yes, if an application is unsuccessful the applicant can re-apply in the next window. The window is usually open once a year and all information would be indicated on the website. Applicants are advised to visit the website regularly to get updates on the next window. However, applicants are advised to subscribe to our newsletters thereby updates and information would be sent directly to their mails.
No, the project is free for the applicants. However, during the course of the programme, applicants might be required to purchase various equipment and items for their own use.
The duration of the entire process would span between 6-18 months.
A certificate of completion would be awarded to the successful applicants at the end of the programme. Outstanding applicants also stand a chance of being employed by ForeMedia Group in home country or overseas. Also, successful applicants can get funding on their projects that they would like to embark upon.
The programme is currently ONLY available to applicants in Lagos, Nigeria and London, United Kingdom.
No, we do not provide accomodation
The programme would usually require a huge chunk of the applicants’ time due to the rigorous training and internship programs. It is a full time programme.
